Ethan Kahn

Bio/Description

Ethan Kahn is a junior from Cincinnati, Ohio, interested in the intersection of politics, culture, religion, social movements, and human rights. He has loved engaging with the Middle East during his time at Princeton, working at the Middle East Institute for Scientific Security in Amman, Jordan; studying Arabic through the U.S. Department of State's Critical Language Scholarship Program in Tangier, Morocco; and meeting with Israelis and Palestinians on a trip led by former Ambassador to Egypt and Israel Daniel Kurtzer. For his independent work this year, he hopes to explore the historical relationships between the governments of Arab states and the Jewish communal leadership within those states, in the 20th century.
