Bio/Description
Jessica Parker worked as a Project Manager for the Handwritten Text Recognition Project from 2021 until 2024. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts in anthropology, linguistics, and French from the University of Toronto and a Master of Arts in cultural studies, specializing in Jewish studies and museum studies, from Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario. Jessica has worked as an educator, curator, archivist, and oral historian at institutions in the United States, Canada, and Israel, including the Yiddish Book Center in Amherst, Massachusetts; the Ontario Jewish Archives in Toronto; the Center for Jewish History in New York City; and the Museum of the Jewish People in Tel Aviv.
