Bio/Description

Yahm Levin grew up in Los Angeles and spent most of her 20s in Israel. While there, she received her Bachelor's degree in American Studies and Women & Gender Studies from Tel Aviv University. She holds two graduate degrees, both from the University of Alabama: a Master’s in American Studies, for which she conducted an ethnographic study of Israelis living in Birmingham, Alabama, and a Master's in Library and Information Studies. Currently, she is the Arizona Collection Librarian at the State of Arizona Research Library in Phoenix, Arizona. In her spare time, she volunteers with the Association of Jewish Libraries as the Map Coordinator for the Jewish Collection Directory
