Yosef Ginsberg

Undergraduate Research Assistant, Princeton Geniza Project

Yosef Ginsberg is a rising senior at Yeshiva University, where he is pursuing a degree in computer engineering as part of a joint program with Columbia University. He spent the Summer of 2019 as a research intern at Cambridge University’s Genizah Research Unit, where he investigated fragments of the Hebrew Bible from the Genizah. Much of Yosef’s work blends together the ancient and the modern – at the Princeton Geniza Lab, he uses the effectiveness and efficiency of modern technology to shed new light on the Genizah and its history.
